Introduction & Acceptance

By accessing or using ONYT OÜ ("onyt", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Platform Nature — What onyt Is and Is Not

onyt is a technology platform that connects community groups with supporters. It is important to understand the following about the nature of our service:

• onyt is not a payment institution. We do not hold, transfer, or redistribute funds. Donations are routed directly from donor to group coordinator at transaction time via our payment processor. onyt never takes custody of donation funds.
• Payment processing is provided by Stripe. All payment transactions are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service and Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy.
• onyt is not a registered charity and is not a charitable fundraising platform. We do not issue tax-deductible receipts. Groups listed on onyt are community groups, not necessarily registered charities.
• Donations are voluntary gifts between the donor and the receiving group. They are not purchases, investments, or loans. No goods, services, or returns are promised in exchange for a donation.

Eligibility & Accounts

Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Email verification is required to activate your account
• One account per person; multiple accounts may result in suspension

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Keep your contact information up to date
• Notify us immediately at contact@onyt.net of any unauthorized account access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

Partner Shopping & Group Earnings

How It Works

onyt operates through affiliate networks including Skimlinks and direct merchant partnerships. When supporters shop via a group's deals page, the group earns a commission from qualifying purchases. Individual user cashback accounts are no longer offered — earnings flow directly to the group.

Offer Availability

• Commission rates and offers may vary by merchant and are subject to change without notice
• Availability of offers may vary by geographic location
• Some products, categories, or purchase types may be excluded
• Promotional offers may have limited time availability or quantity restrictions

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or specific amounts of partner shopping earnings. Earnings depend on successful transaction tracking and merchant confirmation.

Click Tracking & Redirects

Our platform tracks interactions through click tracking and redirects to measure engagement and attribute earnings to groups.

• You must click through group deals page links for earnings to be attributed
• Tracking may involve cookies, browser storage, and referral parameters
• Ad blockers or privacy settings may interfere with tracking functionality
• We cannot guarantee successful tracking for all transactions

Donations

onyt enables supporters to donate directly to community groups via card or Bizum payments.

• Donations are not tax-deductible unless explicitly stated by the receiving organization
• We do not provide tax receipts unless specified in our donations policy

Direct Donations

Our Direct Donations feature enables real-money card and Bizum payments to causes via Stripe Connect. By making a direct donation you agree to the following:

• A 5% platform fee is deducted from each donation; the fee breakdown is shown before payment
• Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of the cause's connected account
• Donations are voluntary gifts and are non-refundable once routed to the group coordinator's connected account, except in cases of verified fraud or unauthorized payment. The 14-day refund window applies only to the platform fee portion; donation amounts already transferred to a connected account cannot be reversed by onyt
• Donations of €1,000 or more may require additional AML verification
• Tax receipts may be available for NGO-registered causes where indicated
• Post-payout liability: onyt is not responsible for how groups or coordinators use funds once received. Group coordinators are solely responsible for fulfilling any stated fundraising purpose and for communicating honestly with donors about fund usage

User-Submitted Charities

Users may submit charitable organizations for consideration in our platform. All submissions undergo review.

• Charity approval or rejection is at our sole discretion
• We verify charitable status and legitimacy before approval
• Approved charities must maintain their charitable status to remain listed
• We reserve the right to remove charities from our platform at any time

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use our Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful acts
• To engage in fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the platform or partner shopping system
• To generate prohibited traffic or artificial transactions
• To submit false or misleading information
• To attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data
• To engage in automated data collection, scraping, or bot activity
• To harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff
• To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• To conduct disguised commercial transactions — using donation framing to receive payment for goods or services
• To finance political campaigns or political parties
• For religious proselytising or solicitation
• For personal debt repayment
• For any activity that violates Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ONYT OÜ and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without explicit written permission.

Third-Party Links & Merchants

Our Service contains links to third-party websites, merchants, and services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, terms, or practices of these third-party sites. Each merchant has its own terms and conditions that apply to your purchases. We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

• Availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Service
• Fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Specific cashback amounts, rates, or payment timing
• Successful transaction tracking or merchant confirmation

In no event shall ONYT OÜ, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Changes to the Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We may also notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Estonia.
